Frída Pállsdóttir, the front woman of the indie-rock band Lionheart, was spotted oh John F. Kennedy International Airport looking disheveled as she passes through security and wanders around the airport as she prepares to board a long and grueling flight to her hometown in Iceland. The band currently has a show set for March 18th in Reykjavík, Iceland and we all know that Frída and the rest of Lionheart could use a bit of a mental break from the world and enjoy some much needed time with family.

While some may think that Frída hasn't been doing much since she wrapped up her eighteen month tour a short awhile ago - they are dead wrong. The young and talented musician has been holed up with the rest of Lionheart as they record their second album. Frída has frequently been asked how the new album will sound and how it differs from their debut album, she always responds with:

"Our first album, My Head Is An Animal, reflect the way we felt at that exact moment in time through the sound. After we experienced this eighteen month tour and we were able to see and visit so many amazing places and countries, our second album will reflect how we felt and what we experienced at that time. When we first starting writing music we were stuck in Iceland where hardly anything ever happens, but now that we're creating music on the road and in New York City - everything is fast paced and quite hectic than the life we grew up knowing."

While we're all extremely excited to hear what what Lionheart manages to pull out of their sleeves, we're all going to have to wait a little bit longer to know a release date - so far as the public knows, the band is still working madly at finishing up their second album and has yet to disclose a release date to the world. However, the time for festivals is quickly arriving and I'm almost certain that Lionheart will be playing at most of them and maybe if we keep our fingers crossed some of their new music will find their rightful spot in their set list!
